Please help me to play this episode.

Hi: I'm trying to play the SMB2 version of The Epic Quest by Unknown68D and for some reason it only show a black screen appears where the world map usually is. Only the ammount of lives appear and I cannot play it because of that. Please could you help me?

I don't know how to help besides asking if you downloaded and extracted the episode into the right place, which should be in the worlds folder of your SMBX installation. Maybe you should try reinstalling SMBX or delete the episode and redownload it to see if that fixes the problem.

there's actually been a fix posted inside the episode's dedicated thread in the meantime, might as well leave it here for posterity:

I managed to make it work after editing some stuff, but I'm not sure which of them had the effect. Here's the list:

- Changed the folder name to SMBX-The-Epic-Quest
- Changed the episode name to The Epic Quest by U68D
- Changed the "start" level properties to have "Cutscene 1.lvlx" as the level
