Activate spawner on event

I'm sorry, this question has probably been asked before, but how would I make a generator spawn an enemy when an event begins? Is it possible?

It's simple, put the generator npc in a layer, hide the layer on start, then use an event to activate the visibility of that layer.

Oh, and I don't know if this needs a new post made for it, but it IS possible to make an event trigger when a spawned object falls below the level, right?

I'm not sure, depends if the "On Death/Kill" trigger of the NPC is triggered when it falls from the level.

I'm not sure, depends if the "On Death/Kill" trigger of the NPC is triggered when it falls from the level.
This is the case if
- The NPC is spawned by a generator or by another NPC OR
- The section has "No turn back" enabled
Otherwise, a workaround is to put a lava block below the level.
