An interesting glitch

Postby Squishy Rex » Sat Jan 04, 2014 5:48 am

Well, I discovered this while playing "The Mushroom Robbers - Revisited". You can try it out too quite easily, all you need to do is place a slope next to a ladder or vine with a wall directly next to the climbable NPC on the opposite side. All you need to do then is slide down the slope. When you reach the ladder/vine keeping holding down. You will then hit the wall and descend down the ladder in the sliding pose, however you'll move downward extremely slowly. You can try it in "The Mushroom Robbers - Revisited" level called "The Waterfall Forest".

This can be kinda useful for various gimmicks. Looks cool.

I've actually never heard of this. I should consider trying it out for myself, specially since I barely comprehend how the glitch itself works without proof. Words are never a friend.

Great, you're making me do extra work, downloading an episode I originally don't own for myself. Meh, I'll stop being lazy and test it out. I frankly have no problems. =P

You have to keep holding down, and make sure the vine is beside the slope. I tested it and it worked.
