I thought SMBX.org started at January 2014.
Forums for SMBX
https://www.supermariobrosx.org/forums/
That's why you'll only see posts from January 2014 and onwards.Pseudo-dino wrote:Late in 2013, a group called the SMBX Council was formed, consisting of Knux, Valtteri (who had served as an administrator on the Knuxforums and SMBX Revived in the past), Quill (a longtime community member famous for taking years to finish his episode), Joey (the guy who runs this forum and a longtime prominent community member), reghrhre (former leader of NSMBX), and several others. This group's intent was to create another new forum via a merger between SMBX Revived and Knuxforums, this time operated by Joey on his own servers. This was significant because, since the closure of Trekweb, all SMBX forums had been hosted using free forum hosting sites like prophpbb, which allow only limited customization. Again, the merge appeared successful, but Knux pulled out of the merger at the last moment and deleted all the posts that had been made in the few days since the forum had opened.
Also, 3 years since I joined the forum (yet I've been in the community for longer than that) as well as other notable members like Sux, Wind and Kyo.King of Eterity wrote:Also marks 3 years since Bossedit8 joined, so yeah he is one of the first members here.
I am guessing you have been in the NSMBX community before that right?HeroLinik wrote:Also, 3 years since I joined the forum (yet I've been in the community for longer than that) as well as other notable members like Sux, Wind and Kyo.King of Eterity wrote:Also marks 3 years since Bossedit8 joined, so yeah he is one of the first members here.
Yeah! I joined in the middle of 2012.King of Eterity wrote:I am guessing you have been in the NSMBX community before that right?HeroLinik wrote:Also, 3 years since I joined the forum (yet I've been in the community for longer than that) as well as other notable members like Sux, Wind and Kyo.King of Eterity wrote:Also marks 3 years since Bossedit8 joined, so yeah he is one of the first members here.
I guess Bossedit8 is the second member who wasn't an admin or mod to join, only beaten by Raster, who is now banned. It appears you were the 13th member.HeroLinik wrote:Yeah! Shame it took you a day to join the forum though.Intuition wrote:Man, 3 years, what a journey. I also joined the community back in the old days of NSMBX, which to me personally was the best time to be part of it, wish only for the best for those veteran members who left the community afterward. I can see this forum standing strong in years to come, the way the forums are heading, while in constant change, will certainly prove to be for the better.
And you joined on the 1st anniversary. So, looking forward to a 3rd year on SMBX?Snessy the duck wrote:Happy birthday to the SMBX forums! I remember when I first joined, I was such a bad user, and I even got myself banned! But now, I've improved a lot, and I can safely say that I've had a fun time on here!
Yeah, definetly! I'm having a blast on here, and I'm definetly not leaving soon!King of Eterity wrote:And you joined on the 1st anniversary.
