Forum Suggestion

Umm.. Quick Idea.
Since we are a Mario forum. I would like to see Goombas at the bottom minding their own business walking to the other side of the board.
Don't get me?
Sometimes Goombas will spawn on the bottom of the forum walking to the other side and you can click on them to squish them.
They do nothing except walk and walk and walk.
If you want.
Rarely Koopas can walk across and you can click on them twice to send the shell back hitting the other goombas.

This might not be possible so you can ignore this..

P.S is this the right place to put this here?

It's possible using flash but that's really a minor cosmetic change that won't affect anything.

Do you mean like where the image is right now of a wood level with the Koopas and Goombas?

It would be creative and original, I do agree. It would be nice.
I originally thought that an animated footer would be alright but this is a neater idea.
This is very well possible in Adobe Flash, if I'm not mistaken.

You see the tab where if you have multiple browsers open? The Goombas will be walking on top of that, You know. The tab with the timer and stuff. And the start menu. No matter where you scroll in the smbx forums. The Goombas will remain walking on the tab unless you squish them as they walk past.

Are you referring to the Windows Taskbar?

Yeah. The taskbar. Just slightly above it the Goombas will walk across it.

How would that be possible? Don't you mean the footer? Because it's impossible to put animations on the taskbar like this.

I thought he was talking about the bottom of the screen altogether. It's impossible to put animations in the task bar, like Raster said (I think it's plausible with an external program, but not on the actual forums). I still think it would be nice to have them walk along the bottom of the screen.

Having them walking on the wooden footer is obviously possible using flash or even gif images. Having them die on click is also possible, though that's a bit more complicated.

I agree the footer is very bland and boring.

Well Joey promised that any needed changes to the forum theme would come soon, some of the things he did mention were the SMB3 Navigation Pipes at the top of the page... the footer was also mentioned. I'm pretty sure he will edit the needed things soon, hopefully the proposed changes will arrive sooner than later.
